Web Content Accessibility

Accessibility

The Delta Protection Commission is committed to making its website equally accessible for all visitors. The website is designed, developed, and maintained to comply with California Government Code Sections 7405 and 11135 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

The Delta Protection Commission continuously works on website accessibility improvements to meet the standards specified in WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

We strive to maintain all information at acceptable accessibility levels, but some of the older and historical documents, which may provide value to our website visitors, may not meet the defined standards. If you would like a list of our documents, please check our document library page and contact us for assistance if the document is not available on our website.  You may also want to check the list of prior Commission Meetings for agendas, minutes, and for some, the materials used during the last six Commission meetings.

If you are using a screen reader, we are providing most of our website documents in PDF format. However, when not available in PDF, Adobe provides a web site that will convert non-accessible PDF files to a format that is useable with a screen reader. The Adobe Access site is located at access.adobe.com, and the tool can also be added to your computer as a “plug-in”.
