We are hosting a virtual Delta Marketing Task Force meeting to share with you some exciting updates and to hear your feedback on several upcoming and potential projects, including:

Delta Marketing Workshop Series 

We will discuss the first marketing workshop help in April and the remaining three workshops in May, June, and July. Your feedback will help us refine the remaining workshops to meet the needs of Delta business leaders. Also, we are looking for more Delta business owners who would be willing to share their experiences in marketing.

Best of the Delta 

It’s that time of the year again! The 5th annual Best of the Delta survey will run from mid-June through July. In celebration of the 5-year anniversary of Best of the Delta, and to further support Delta businesses, we propose expanding the number of categories to 20 and using the most popular categories of the past 4 years.

Low-Cost Marketing Efforts 

We know the past year has been especially challenging for Delta tourism. We want to hear about your ideas for low-cost marketing efforts. This will be an initial discussion and will lead to a second meeting to finalize options based on available funding.

Updates 

We would also like to share a few updates with you related to the “Welcome” signs, the update to the Recreation & Tourism chapter of the Economic Sustainability Plan, branding of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta National Heritage Area, and improvements to the Visit CA Delta website.

The Delta Marketing Task Force is a group of Delta organizations, businesses, and residents that provide direction on the Visit CA Delta website, social media, and other marketing opportunities.
